Ahoy!
Happy last week before Spring Break! Here is what we are doing this week.
Math: This week we are starting to enter fraction land! We are learning that fractions must be an equal share of a shape. Coming back from Spring Break we will be starting our timed multiplication quizzes. Please be working with your students on memorizing their multiplication facts. The students have learned the basics of what multiplication is, now the students need to be able to quickly recall their facts.
Reading: This week we are wrapping up unit 2. We will be taking an assessment through the end of the week. It will be great to come back and start fresh after Spring Break!
Writing: We are learning how to tell the different between fact and opinion. When we come back from Spring Break students will begin writing their opinion piece.
