Week of 4/25/2016

Ahoy!

Wow I can't believe that it is already wednesday! Sorry about the late post. It was a crazy day with testing yesterday. I am so proud of how hard our class worked. We have one more day of testing on Friday and then will start with math in June. Here is what is happening this week!

Reading: We are taking it a bit easier this week because of testing. We will continue to review what is needed for the test, as well as introducing a new text for our Native American unit. We are focusing on myths and how they are important to the Native American culture.

Writing: This week students are working on finishing their final drafts of their opinion piece. They are also working on polishing their piece for a 3rd grade anthology. If you can help we are editing pieces tomorrow at 9:30.

No spelling this week!
