Week of 4/18/16

Ahoy!

I hope you have all been enjoying this sunshine. I was able to enjoy the Camas Baseball game today! Go Makers!

Reading: We are beginning our unit on Native Americans. This week we are learning some general facts about them. We are also working on reviewing main idea, message, character traits, etc. for our SBAC testing next week.

Writing: Students are working on finishing up their persuasive writing pieces.

Math: This week we are diving deep into division. Students are working on using their multiplication facts to help them solve division story problems. We are also working on showing our thinking using a second strategy. Please make sure your child is practicing their multiplication facts!

Social Studies:
This week week will be mapping out the 5 different regions that the Native Americans lived in. This unit will include a lot of neat art projects. We will need paper plates, yarn, beads, and cereal boxes if you have any you would like to donate.
